FreshTrak

Mid-Ohio Food Collective set out to solve a distribution problem. Getting food to the people who need it most requires systems that work for everyone in the ecosystem, from individuals seeking help to the volunteers and administrators managing the process. FreshTrak was designed to meet that need.

The work started with human insights, speaking directly with customers, volunteers, and administrators to shape a platform built to serve multiple audiences. For individuals, an app to find nearby pantries and pre-register with dignity and ease. For food pantries, a reimagined admin tool with faster check-ins and cleaner data. For the broader community, a public-facing data site that visualizes food insecurity with facts rather than assumptions. A friendly, modern brand identity tied it all together, balancing warmth and utility while feeling like a natural extension of the MOFC family.
